Hi, I’m Alex Stuart — a New Zealand-based videographer, photographer, and drone operator with 7+ years of experience working across outdoor, adventure, lifestyle, and commercial projects.
Originally from South Auckland, I now split my time between Auckland, Napier, and wherever the next shoot takes me. When I’m not filming, you’ll usually find me out hiking, camping, or on the mountain — my best work often starts where the road ends.
What I do
I specialise in capturing movement, story, and place — often in rugged or fast-paced conditions. My work blends cinematic style with natural, unscripted moments to create visuals that feel grounded and intentional.
I regularly handle projects from start to finish: planning, directing, filming, editing, and delivering final content. Whether solo or as part of a team, I’m used to adapting quickly and delivering under pressure.
